How we approach Sun Care & Self-Tanning
SPF is not a formulation claim, it is a measured number. We arrange the testing with an accredited lab for the market you are selling into, and the product cannot be labelled until those results are in. Budget several weeks for that, separately from production.
The permitted UV filters are not the same list in the EU, the US and Australia. If you are launching in more than one market, tell us at the brief stage — a single formula that satisfies all three is possible, but only if it is designed that way from the start.
